Office of the President
Welcome to º£½Ç³Ô¹Ï's Home Page!
Home of the Pioneers!
My name is Chad Wiginton...and I am a Pioneer! As a high school senior in 1994, I took several concurrent courses at Western. That experience started a journey for me that has proven to be one of life's greatest blessings. After enrolling as a full-time student in 1995, I took advantage of many of the same opportunities that Western still provides today. I've always said that my two years on this campus shaped me into the person I am today.
Not only has Western been an integral part of my life, but in the life of southwest Oklahoma as well. Since 1926, º£½Ç³Ô¹Ï has been providing a quality, rigorous and affordable education focusing on our service area which includes Jackson, Harmon, Kiowa, Tillman, and Greer counties. As an institution, we are committed to the success of each and every student that walks onto this campus and engages in our high touch-high tech online courses.
Our Board of Regents, administration, faculty and staff, look forward to assisting you in any way possible during your adventure at Western and welcome you into our Pioneer family. This is a family that is rich in academic, athletic and student services traditions which places the highest priority on student success. As your president, my proudest moment will be the day I present you with a diploma. So, stop by the office and let's practice that handshake so we will both be prepared on graduation day!
