Phoneº£½Ç³Ô¹Ï is committed to a campus community free from sexual misconduct, sex discrimination, and sexual harrassment for it's members. Western has adopted policies and procedures, training, and other resources to educate the campus community about these topics in compliance with Title IX regulations.

"No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any educational program or activity receiving federalÌýfinancial assistance." --Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972

Any Title IX related concerns should be immediately reported.

Title IX Trainings

All members of the campus community are required to participate in Title IX training annually. The following are the required trainings:
  • Students: training module is located in the "Student Trainings" course in your Canvas online classroom
  • Employees: training module is located in the "Employee Trainings" course in Canvas
Per the 2020 Title IX Regulations, institutions are required to post their Title IX team training materials. Western is a member of the Association of Title IX Administrators, which provides training programs and materials for our campus:Ìý
